Welcome to BABBWORKS
BABBWORKS is more than just my personal developer portfolio; it is my digital laboratory. I built this platform to serve as a living proof-of-concept for the “Centaur” approach—a hybrid workflow where my raw human intent is amplified by the friction and capability of artificial intelligence.
The engine driving my development process is the Prompt Compiler. I realized that treating AI like a casual chatbot leads to mediocre code. My compiler solves this by treating English instructions as executable syntax. By wrapping my requests in strict XML tags and assigning specific cognitive roles—from “Fortune 500 CEO” to “Senior Architect”—I force the AI to produce structured, high-quality output rather than generic text.
To bring these interactions to life, I introduced Jiminy, a custom AI assistant you can launch by clicking the green cricket silhouette in the bottom right corner. Upon activation, Jiminy offers a menu of specialized agent profiles—simply entering a number engages a specific persona. However, the bot’s true power lies in its integration with my Prompt Compiler: pasting the compiler’s structured output directly into the chat overrides the default menu, instantly configuring Jiminy with the precise constraints and logic I have engineered.
This architectural rigor culminates in newsGEIST, a live aggregator that deconstructs the velocity of media bias. Powered by Gemini 2.5 Flash, it utilizes a “Perspective Slider” to instantly rewrite news across nine political personas. It’s a visceral diagnostic for media literacy, exposing how narrative framing manufactures outrage and trapping the machinery of the modern filter bubble in real-time.
Finally, I document the reality of this workflow in my vi(be)log. This isn’t a polished résumé; it is a gritty archive of my experiments, failures, and the lessons learned while wrestling with hallucinating algorithms. BABBWORKS is where I build, break, and refine the tools of the future.
